California Fish Grill

Review is about a 2Good2Go experience. Items were not ready to go upon arrival. So this means they packed them live - which might be a good thing- but instead, they skimped on portions and chose 3 things that I could have cooked at home: rice, zucchini, and cabbage slaw. Not good value for price and time spent.

Went in to pick up my take out order. I don’t know what is up with the people behind the counter but i went in and said i had a pickup order and the lady just turned around and started bagging orders without saying a word. After reading other reviews I suggest they train their workers on their customer service. I ordered the shrimp trío and was missing my coconut shrimp which I had to pay extra just to switch my coleslaw for a Cesar salad. This plate was NOT worth $20. The shrimp has no seasoning, maybe just a tad of salt. My child’s battered fish was the only good thing.

Fantastic food selection. All orders made fresh. The shrimp tacos coupled with French fries was made perfection. The poke bowl although missed few ingredients was excellent. The dish was garnished with avocados and indeed was cooked at perfect temperature. For four the cost was $ 86.00

Fish was good and well prepared, it was a healthy, tasty meal and came to the counter directly from the cook. However it gets cold too quickly in the cold atmosphere as the a/c is set too cold. Don't bother with extras like parmesean garlic bread, it's not worth eating. Kaleslaw was good but too much dressing. Liked that fries were crisp and in a separate bowl so as to not get soggy. Yes, I'd go back on a warm day and sit outside but careful what I order. Dress warm if inside, im not easily chilled.

First time eating here, the food was yummy . Pictured are Cajun Shrimp tacos with rosemary Zucchini and white rice. Added shrimp skewers with garlic sauce and Cajun sauce. Definitely will be back. F.Y. I, they don't accept bills larger then $20.
