Party of four, wanting something new try and eat. Calabasas Caribbean, restaurant was on our radar. The menu selections were gr e at and traditional Caribbean cuisines. Bright and clean inside, great service.our server was helpful and informative about menu selections Our food was well seasoned with just enough spice. Liquor license is coming, but they have non alcohol Island flavors cocktails. I recommend Calabash Caribbean, it's a nice place. Street parking available. Transportation hub across the street on Arden way and Del Paso Blvd.
The food here is fantastic! We ordered the goat curry, which was phenomenal and the whole snapper which was also amazing. Side of garlic kale and rice and beans, both wonderful. We also got complementary soups which was delicious. Place is nice and open and service was good. Definitely going back to try more dishes!
Amazing high end dining experience here. Ordered the oxtail and Caribbean fried chicken, great combo. Also married it to the virgin pineapple ginger juice. Also had one of the best red pea soups in my life here. Can't afford it every day but was worth bringing my girl here. Came here for a 2nd visit. The bar tender was outstanding, and ordered the jerk chicken with a side of rasta pasta. Simply sublime. Couldn't make it on vacation this year, but this food took me away. They just earned a repeat customer. PS You must try the complimentary soup. Nothing like it.
What a beautiful restaurant! I am so proud that there's an upscale Caribbean restaurant in Sacramento! The food was authentic Jamaican food, and the presentation of the meals 10/10! Ordered the goat curry with plantain. The waiter was funny and patient.
So excited to try a new Caribbean spot in Sacramento! The red bean soup, oxtails, rice and peas and smashed potatoes were delicious! The goat stew was very salty but it could’ve just been the batch that day, will try it again. The drinks were alcohol free but very refreshing! The atmosphere was clean, open and relaxing with nice o music playing in background. Please dont go anywhere Calabash!
