Customer Reviews
I can’t even begin to describe what a fantastic meal+experience we had here! Excellent! Delicious! Go! *We had their à la carte menu The service is Michelin fine dining -level. Everyone from the host to the bartenders to the food runners paid amazing attention to detail and all took pride in their work. The restaurant is very modern, but cozy and comfortable. We sat at the bar and the seats were super comfortable, the service was excellent: the bartenders were very helpful, professional, and knew the menu. Cocktails were awesome, and every item we ordered was perfect/delicious/amazing.
Originally Cafe Miro with Chef Shigeru Kobayashi at the helm, Chef Chris Kajioka rebranded the restaurant after Chef Kobayashi's retirement as Miro Kaimuki. Reinvented once again in 2026 as Cafe Miro Kaimuki. The monthly prix fixe menu is still available, but now, you can also dine from their À la carte menu. Or do both!!! 🙌 The food, wine and cocktaild here are phenomenal but the service and genuine hospitality are also the best in town! True omotenashi! 💚💚💚
A great new spin on what used to be Miro Kaimuki. The ahi brioche is as good as ever and there’s lots of other great à la carte items as well. Some highlights for me were the steak and conservas. One request would be to please bring back the sourdough!! 🙏
Surprised we just recently discovered Cafe Miro which recently revamped their menu to offer à la carte options. Love the simplistic and modern decor in the restaurant and especially love the background music they played throughout our meal. What drew us to try this restaurant was a post on IG of their ahi and uni brioche. Was a bit disappointed that they didn't list the caviar version on the menu but I guess previous diners knew to ask for it. We only noticed the table next to us having it but they did opt for the tasting menu which didn't seem to be an exorbitant amount of food (which we were afraid of). We started with both the ahi and uni brioche which were both amazing. Next time we will definitely add that one to the list of snacks. My wife loves escargots and it definitely hit the
Amazing food! This is the OG location.
