Burger King

The burger king in east lyme is terrible. Every. Single. Time I go my order is completely messed up. I decided to give them a second chance the other day and nothing changed. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, no bacon. Order chicken nuggets and they forget my BBQ sauce. Not to mention my fries were stale and cold and my chicken nuggets were hard as a rock like they'd been sitting there all day. What a waste of $10. Ridiculous. I shouldn't have to open all my food in the parking lot to make sure it's correct before I leave and the restaurant when I complained only offered me $5 off a future order. Like I would ever want to go back

When we walked in we were ignored, no welcome in, no how are you doing, not even a hi. I had a free whopper coupon that I wanted to use, placed the order and handed her the coupon, she said that if I wanted to use the coupon I had to tell her first. I asked to cancel the order and start again, easy enough. She told me in a very rude tone “it’s not as easy as it looks” and rolled her eyes, two button presses later, our order was restarted and the coupon went through. She was the assistant manager, her name was Jess. She was rude the whole time, and just miserable. Food was good but took forever to get. After all that time my fries were soggy. Who is this rude woman at the drive-thru window? She doesn’t listen to the order, and when I correct her, she says, “That’s what I said,” then repeats the wrong thing again. Consistently rude throughout the order process and at the pay window as well. Then I’m charged for a large order and get handed a medium with an explanation of “We don’t serve coffee after noon.” It was 12:04, by the way. So I don’t know why I’m being handed a medium, old coffee instead of being told ahead of time so I can just get the large soda I’m being charged instead. It really isn’t difficult to be polite to your customers. At no point was I rude back, but it sure was tempting to just say, “There is no one else here so I don’t know why you’re in such a panic. My family and I stopped here on our way home. Service was not a problem the food we received was. Only 1 out the 3 sandwiches we order was hot. My son's chicken sandwich was ice cold. As you can see in the picture my bacon burger was burned and was so cold it would not even melt the cheese. From now on I well always check my food before I leave.

The chicken sandwich was so full of water it was disgusting. Almost as if someone dunked it in water, so water logged It tasted Terrible and gushed water when you try to eat it, literally spilling water all over. I tried to wring it out, but I just trashed it. Will absolutely never return.
