Boonton Thai Cuisine

I have been to many, many Thai restaurants but this one was not good. The food looks good but the taste is par at best. I ordered spicy drunken noodle ramen and it has absolutely no spice to it at all and hardly any vegetables or meat. The bowls had a scoop of rice and the vegetables were straight from the fridge. The only thing that was good was the mango sticky rice. They have one person cooking and one running around to all the tables. If you like Thai food, I would not recommend going here.

Ive been going to Boonton Thai for 6 years now, and every-time i go its delicious. So many specials added you can always find something new to try. I was recently there for dinner with a friend and the owner and chef were so nice!!! Recommended there new ramen diners just added to the menu. It was superb. Cant wait to order again. This restaurant authentic Thai a must go on your list:)

very small portions. ordered the spicy eggplant chicken and the already small container wasn't even 3/4 full, and the portion of rice is even so much smaller than other takeout places. Food was good but portions not.

Smaller seating inside with quick service. There’s a little bit of a smell when you’re inside, because the kitchen is open and is in same area. The food is really amazing and freshly made. I loved the vegetarian steamed dumplings 🥟 and basil fried rice. Medium spicy was not too spicy. Highly recommend to try amazing Thai food. Note: pay by cash to avoid 3.5% credit card usage fee.

If I could leave 6 stars I would. Boonton Thai has the best Thai cuisine in north NJ. I’ve been eating here for a long time now so I’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu and not a single thing has disappointed, with options for everyone including GF and Vegetarian, you will leave with a full stomach and a smile on your face. The owners are so friendly and sweet. Eating here feels like eating in my grandmas kitchen, they pour so much love into their food and they really care about the quality of their ingredients! Definitely worth a visit! My favorite dishes are the duck rolls, massaman curry, and coconut dessert!
