Boonton Sushi House

What an amazing hidden gem! Sushi is my favorite go to meal and I have to say this is some of the best sushi in Morris county. Amazing quality fish, very fresh and delicious. We got a bunch of sushi and shared. Everything was my favorite- the Spicy girl roll, fried rice appetizer, yellow tail with jalapeños, even the regular rolls were excellent. The menu had so much variety it was such a nice experience. The restaurant is beautifully decorated on a great location on Main Street. After sushi i went to robins closet and a few other shops downtown. Such a fun girls day. I can’t believe I’m just discovering this place now. Definitely a must go to sushi restaurant.

On top of a hill on Main Street in Boonton, NJ sits a very nondescript neighborhood sushi restaurant, but don’t let looks fool you. This small casual eatery is slinging out omakase quality fish. The chef’s here are consistent. They take pride in the quality of fish that they offer which changes weekly if not daily depending on what their distributor has to offer. Many of the choices you will not see unless you partake in a $150+ omakase menu. Some of our favorite pieces include the NegiToro hand roll which they add chopped Japanese radish, scallions and sesame seeds to. Outstanding! We are also big fans of their Artic Char which gets paired with sliced avocado, their hamachi (yellowtail) seared salmon belly which just melts in your mouth, their madai is spectacular, scallops are delici

Boonton Sushi House is hands down my favorite spot for sushi! The fish is always incredibly fresh, and every roll is packed with flavor. The Spicy Girl roll is my absolute favorite — it’s the perfect mix of spice and deliciousness. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is inviting, and every visit feels like a treat. Highly recommend if you’re craving top-notch sushi! PS. Great lunch menu! I use them for luncheons all the time.

Crispy duck roll was on point, though the duck wasn't crispy. Diamond roll was great, needed the soy sauce though. As good as when I lived in Boonton 20 years ago.

Satisfying and “oishii” food but service can be warmer and friendlier. No complaints about the portions and the food - the Kamikaze roll/Sashimi Combo, Yakisoba and Sushi rolls we ordered were delicious! And they were all made fast. But I guess the server who attended to us was new. It will be nice if a manager comes in to check on customers, or customers are greeted with a traditional Japanese welcome or farewell. The washroom was really clean when we went there I must say. At the end of the day, a warm service complements the whole experience. But overall, great food!
