Bon Ton Fish Market

Not Friendly, I bought three rainbow trout listed at $7.99 each. Before purchasing, I asked if they could be cleaned and was told yes. At checkout, I was charged $100 total, which was unexpected and not explained beforehand. The cleaning took less than two minutes. I felt uncomfortable during the interaction and did not feel the pricing was transparent. I recommend asking for a clear price breakdown before agreeing to any services.

In the future, I would only purchase FISH from this store, which I must say was very good. But ... the Manhattan Clam Chowder was way off the mark with a vinegar taste to the broth. Not enjoyable at all. And ... the Baked Clams were absolutely awful. The consistency was strange and they easily fell apart. They were FULL of onions and they had hardly any clams and they were too oily. First time ever in 40 years that I couldn't finish baked clams and had to throw most of it away. This store should hire a new chef to make their homemade products ... or ... outsource it ... or just stick to selling fish.

We are blessed to have 2 local independent markets within walking distance of our home. One of these is Bon Ton Fish Market. We love fish of all types and are occasional buyers here. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. I rely on my bride to make the purchase decisions. You can order for curbside pickup or use the nice parking lot on the side/back of the building.

Not very friendly sales personnel in that store. Hope they understand that there are ample suppliers in Greenwich of fresh seafood products who welcome your business at very competitive prices. My order of 30 lobsters tomorrow, goes to the other stores..

Excellent, the fish is freshest in town. Love the nova and whitefish salad. Great fish steaks, fillets, and lobsters too. Easy parking. Pricy but very worth it, always love eating anything from Bon Ton.
