Black Rock Shave Ice

Uh... Wow! Best shaved ice I've ever had. I got the Purple Orchid, which happened to have two of my favorite flavors, lychee and ube. Then the middle was soft serve vanilla ice cream. And the freaking sweet and condensed milk on top! And the orchid!🤤 I was in heaven. My mother got the Pinacolada that had pineapple soft serve in the middle and topped with toasted coconut. We were in Paradise! The gal working there was very kind and worked with quick expertise. I want to go back.

The shave ice was absolutely delicious and I was pleasantly surprised by it. I had no clue you could do so much with shaved ice! They accept cash or card which was great. The staff lady was super friendly and happy to help. The purple orchid was what I got, my kids got the local Maui and a custom mix of flavors. All were delicious and the prices were great! Highly recommend checking it out.

This shaved ice was simply fabulous. The person at the counter made us a massive portion of icy delight. This was the perfect way to cool off and relax after snorkeling in the breathtaking Black Rock beach sea. We tried the Blue Hawaiian, Pina Colada, and Ube flavors and topped it off with condensed milk. All of the syrups were amazing, and the condensed milk brought everything together with a nice touch of sweetness. Shaved ice is definitely something to look out for during your vacation to Maui!

After trying a couple other shaved ice places in the area, I think this is my favorite. It is hidden by the pool at the Sheraton and has stupidly limited hours, but it is well worth it. We had the purple orchid and the pina coco-lada. Both were delicious.

OMG! The Pina Coco-lada is FANTASTIC! 😋 Highly recommend! Get it...trust me, you'll love it.
