We decided to beat the Valentines Day rush and went Friday early evening! Food was AMAZING! We had the Pina Rellena with Chicken, and the Mofongo Caribeño with pork. I felt like there could have been more for the first dish for how much it cost but the mofongo was amazing and came with a ton! Also, can you even beat that waterfront few? They were so kind as well. Oh and the Yuca Fries with cilantro lime sauce was so good as well!
I enjoyed a very good meal here with friends. The food was excellent and is something you will not find elsewhere in the area. The wait Stagg was great and got everything I needed which included bar service. The drinks were good as well. I will definitely visit again.
my mom and I decided to try this place for lunch during the weekday didn’t know what to expect so my mom went ahead and just ordered some food and boy did it not disappoint. It was fresh. It was hot. The plantains were off the chain. Never had one before… super sweet service. I will definitely be coming back. Cannot wait to try their brunch.
I got takeout and I’ve never been more disappointed by food in my life. The rice was ok, a bit dry and some pieces are hard. The carne asada is so dry and tough I’m having to wrestle with my food to eat it. I’m dousing it in sauce to make it edible and even that isn’t really working. The plantains are ok, I’ve had better. I was expecting the plantains to be more like maduros, so maybe that’s why they’ve disappointed me. The pickled veggies were good but heavy on cilantro. I would recommend going elsewhere for food
Wow, such a great hidden seafood place in Elizabeth City. My wife and I enjoyed a great date night. The service was great, efficient and professional. The atmosphere reminds me of Florida. The food was on point. The tostones con ajo, the torre de mariacos with crispy tostadas were amazing! Highly recommend.
