Very friendly staff, explained to us the flavors and how to enjoy the shaved ice. She also offered to top up syrups if we wanted. The shaved ice itself was very refreshing and tasty. Highly recommend, be warned, it’s addictive. Sorry, forgot to take a before-picture. We got mango-passion fruit-lychee with coconut ice cream and coconut condensed milk.

Best shaved ice on the island! Smooth ice, delicious flavors, and creamy ice cream. We make it a point to come here multiple times when we visit Maui. It’s also close to public beach access - makes a great treat while visiting the beach.

Shaved ice spot located inside a hotel. Stopped by here with my boyfriend and there was free beach parking next to the hotel. We got the strawberry, pineapple, and tigers blood with macadamia ice cream. The team members helping us were friendly and efficiently covered our shaved snow. We ate at the beach which was a short walk away, but there were tables close by with seating. Credit cards accepted. The strawberry was the best flavor in my opinion.

Stopped by Big Wave Shaved Ice and loved it! The flavors were delicious and super refreshing — perfect for a warm Maui day. Friendly service and generous portions made it an awesome treat spot. Highly recommend!

Oh MY GOSH. This is the BEST shaved ice in all of Hawaii… and I’m not kidding because we went to 8 places on 2 different islands and I still dream about it. SO SMOOTH and melts in your mouth. Their workers are also so nice and there are fun board games to play while you eat! 10/10!!!
