Big Papa's Creamery

This is a beautiful and new ice cream shop in downtown Lancaster. I stopped by because I read that they had some pretty original flavors and they honestly do. I got a traditional black cherry ice cream which was phenomenal and then I got their it's unique strawberry and basil flavored ice cream and honestly both are fantastic. It's very comfortable inside and spacious.

Big Papa’s Creamery is one of our new favorite places for ice cream. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, and delicious ice cream in the heart of beautiful Lancaster. We can’t wait to bring the kids!

Such incredible ice cream! I have been looking for a new ice cream place and this one was amazing. There are so many different flavors to try and seasonal ones as well, which I love! I also love and appreciate that you can have different flavors in one cone or bowl. We tried 6 different flavors alone today and they were all super tasty and just so flavorful! I will definitely be coming back and I think I found my new ice cream place!!!

We noticed a stream of smiling, satisfied customers leaving Big Papa's Creamery when we were across the street – a great sign! Though they weren't open for our visit the following day, it's clear this creamery is a wonderful new addition to the village. You'll find it conveniently located in the new building on W. Main (near Central), making it an easy stroll from other popular downtown establishments. We're very encouraged by the positive buzz and wish them all the best. We'll definitely share our experience once we get to try it ourselves!

Where do I start? Super friendly servers, the ice cream is homemade and to die for, the atmosphere... spacious, bright, cozy, comfy. I cannot wait to go back. Carrot cake ice cream is a must try! 🥕❤️🥕
