Big Island Burger

We happened to find this place by chance and I'm so happy we did. First of all, the place is family-owned. Second, the ingredients are from the island. I love that. I really like supporting local businesses and this one didn't disappoint. The food is amazing! The burgers are incredibly flavorful and well-seasoned! The fries are fresh and the aioli sauce they come with is absolutely delicious. Even my kids who usually don’t like burgers really liked it. We will be coming back to this place next time we are in Hawaii. I highly recommend it to everyone. [We're from Texas and my mom even said these burgers are better than Whataburger burgers; IYKYK]

Found our new favourite burger spot in Waikiki! I’m not exaggerating when I say this is easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. You can really taste that everything is local and fresh. The patties were juicy and flavourful and the bun was toasted just right (see photo for proof 🤤). You definitely have to order the Housemade Lemonade because it is so refreshing. And do not skip the fries! They are cooked in beef tallow instead of standard oil. This gives them an incredible crispiness and rich flavour you just don't get elsewhere. Aside from the amazing food, the service was top-tier. Quinton, the manager, was so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back here next time we are in town. Highly recommend!

Hands down the best burger I have ever had. I ordered a cheeseburger with Swiss and added sauteed mushrooms. Also had a side of their hand cut shoestring fries that are fried in beef tallow. Chef's kiss. This is a local business that sources local products. They never freeze their beef (I asked), and the buns are very fresh. It's a casual vibe where you order at the counter and pick up your food when ready. The place is clean, had indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff was extremely friendly.

Picked the cheeseburger with fires. Quite good, everything felt fresh. I liked the fries and the sauce it came with. The burger patty was thick enough, I would prefer the single burgers, though they offer double, triple and quad options, too. Lunchtime on a week day it was relatively empty, 4-5 people dining, while they have seating for 30+. There was no line, the burger was ready in about 6-8 minutes. Why I would not give five stars: the atmosphere is similar to a mainline burger chain restaurant, while the prices are Waikiki high. So I would propose eat somewhere with more beach vibes if you are paying this high price.

Visiting from California and had the tastiest burgers and fries in Waikiki. And at a reasonable price too. Quintin and Chester were personable and helpful. Hubs had a double smash burger with Cheddar and I had a traditional cheeseburger medium rare. Both were delicious, made to order, seasoned to perfection. Great ambiance with good music playing, it was clean and had comfortable seating too. Definitely worth returning. Highly recommend. 5-Stars and 2 thumbs up and a Shaka too!
