I ordered a small cookie dough ice cream and I got like maybe 4 bites of ice cream and there was maybe 2 pieces of cookie dough. I grabbed a small tasting spoon because I was like maybe it would make this ice cream last longer than a minute of eating it. Also I payed $5.50 fr this. For the aesthetic of the place and hype I expected more. When I got it I was in such shock I couldn’t even say a word when I received it. I wanted to say, “ is this really it?”. Cause really was that it 😅. The flavor it’s self was good I just don’t see myself spending $5.50 again on a 1/3 of a scoop when I can just drive not too far away to a supermarket and get a quart lol.
Non-dairy ice cream pretty underwhelming (esp for the price)—chocolate tastes uncannily like 90s era tofutti which I personally feel zero nostalgia for. It’s nice that they have the option for folks joining their dairy eating friends, but go somewhere else if you are specifically seeking a vegan cone. Cute spot though.
Amazing ice cream, sophisticated, adult flavors. The Blueberry Lavender ice cream was crunchy with blueberries and the lavender was a subtle undernote. Other people there raved about the coconut ice cream. There are several choice of cones and toppings. The food truck is charming and there is plenty of seating. On the other hand, the food truck has a hard time keeping up with orders and the wait foe your scoop is a bit longer than one would expect. But - the crowd is friendly and the wait is a great opportunity to get aquainted with your neighbors. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
So many vegan options! I can’t have dairy UPDATE: they got rid of all but TWO of the vegan options. Chocolate or vanilla. Sorbet is available, but that’s not ice cream. I’m really disappointed in the change. & most ice cream/frozen yogurt places only have 1 vegan option that they rotate. They had 6! I’ve been twice & both ones I tried were PHENOMENAL! Yes it’s expensive, but it’s a treat & I’ll take this with all their options over other places that offer me nothing or extremely limited options.
We love this new additional to Lenox! The ice cream is delicious, the flavors are a mix of traditional and fun, the sourcing is intentional (which is a plus to the Berkshires in general), the hours are great because they are open 7 days a week and later which is what visitors + locals are looking more for. This is a must stop!
