Baba’s Cafe

Really adorable place with absolutely the best coffee! Their honey cinnamon latte was life changing and my husband loved his iced mocha. We all got pastries - morning buns with and without nuts and a blueberry scone - and they were delightful. We requested them warmed and they were truly excellent! Very clearly made fresh. Inside is a nice cozy atmosphere. Seating is limited but the eclectic space is nice to hang in for a bit if you can find a spot. There’s seating outside too that looks over the water, so it’s hard to complain! Dog friendly, which is always a plus for me. Definitely come here if you’re on Peak’s Island.

Cute and delicious in one cup, yes please. From the pastries to their drinks there’s a good selection to be had. I enjoyed the iced Salted Caramel Latte and my partner had the blueberry cold foam iced chai, they revived us. Worth the time to stop by and enjoy .

The coconut jumbles are to die for! They were gone before the ferry got back to Portland! We also got the apple cake, and citrus almond cake. I will definitely be back to grab some more. Looking forward to some more treats! I highly recommend!

Simply the sweetest place on Peaks Island! After a walk of the island, we stopped in for coffee and a nibble. It was so much more than that! Owned by a young, super sweet girl who started this business 3 years ago…and named it after her grandmother, Baba. It doesn’t get any better than that. We discovered it on our first day of our stay & we will return each and every day until we leave! Be sure to stop in and have a fresh blueberry scone, a chocolate chip cookie, or an incredible tomato basil brioche! You will not be sorry!

Peaks Island must stop breakfast and coffee shop! Close walking distance, up the street and to the left from the ferry. Hands down the best breakfast sandwich my friend and I have ever had! Buttery homemade brioche bread bowl, incasing a sausage patty, eggs, and cheese = Delicious! We wished we had time to grab another sandwich before flying out. The coffee was fantastic and the atmosphere was laid back and welcoming. The owner was friendly and very helpful with traveling recommendations while she was rolling out dough for cinnamon buns/sticky bread that looked amazing. Make Baba’s a planned stop when visiting the island!!
