B & J Seafood the Fish Market

We stopped by here on our way back from Havelock. The gentleman behind the counter was sooo nice and helpful! Patient while we decided what we'd like. I can't wait to revisit! They had super, super fresh seafood!

Very disappointed. I’ve been a customer for decades. I reserved live crabs. You can’t get them anywhere else in December, but B&J had them. Told the B&J rep I have a 50 minute ride and I’m on my way. After traveling 40 minutes, B&J called me and said they got busy and sold the crabs reserved for me. I turned around and drove home with nothing. B&J is better than this but they failed big with a long time customer.

Really good selection of wild caught local fish. The customer service is expedient and friendly. They offer to clean your fish the way you want.

What a great fish house. Efficient simple service. Bought 1 dozen crabs and there may have been a bonus or 2. They put them in my cooler with a shovel scoop of ice. Perfect. Will come back for more.

I went in today to buy some flounder since you can’t catch your own in NC. The lady at the counter was very nice and helpful. I’d give her shoutout but I didn’t get her name.
