Asian 1 Restaurant Burlington

We LOVE Asian 1. Pad Thai with chicken and Mongolian Beef like you have never had before. Always our number one choice when we decide to go out. I’ve been coming here for close to 10 years and never had a bad experience. That doesn’t happen these days. Try it out you won’t regret it.

Not a good place to eat if you are vegetarian. They put shrimp sauce or fish oil in everything. Even the peanut sauce and every curry!!! They must premake everything? How can a kitchen not whip up some vegetarian peanut sauce or curry for a customer?? What. 😳 i ordered the pad Thai, vegan and gluten free, as per their insistence. Apparently it is the only dish they can do completely vegetarian. Well, it was disgusting, had to spit out the fried tofu because it tasted like steak. Otherwise, no flavor. Also, i requested the highest level of spice [5], and the dish was not spicy at all. Thai food is my favorite, but not like this. Not with fishy oil or shrimp in everything. Beyond a pleasure to dine in with my brother for a fun and chill time while enjoying our delicious meals. I highly recommend the mongolian beef and deep-fried golden prawns. The host and servers were both friendly and professional, a comfortable experience!

I honestly wasn’t put off by the place due to the price, but my dear friend who started working here not too long ago offered to pay for me and my Boyfriend. (Thank you Lawrence!!!) The food was FANTASTIC! I got the Tokyo yakisoba, and not a single ingredient disappointed me. The carrots were still firm and had a lot of flavor, same with the broccoli, the beef was wonderfully tender and not fatty at all! Good, quality meat. Their white rice also blew me away, as it was the first time I had gotten white rice in a restaurant that actually had flavor. We also got Veggie Spring Rolls, which were served with this delicious sweet and tangy sauce, and they were wonderfully crisp. I am not the kind of person that would go to a restaurant that offers food from three different countries. Normally in my experience that would indicate a lack of quality or focus. Not true with Asian 1. From the moment we walked in we were overwhelmed with how clean and warm everything felt. The restaurant smelt incredible and everyone who was working were super friendly and had a smile on their face while they were working very hard. The bar service was great and they have super clean beer lines and really fun inexpensive cocktails. The food is where it's at though. We left this meal giggling with how delicious everything was. I cannot believe the quality of the food and the whole experience what's truly delightful. We will be back over and over again
