Artani’s Pizzeria - Rome

One of if not the best pizzeria’s in Rome Ny with a large selection on menu as well as specials and fast slices in window which are nothing short of a chefs kiss. The food is outstanding such as the pizza which is a in house recipe from the dough, cheese and handmade sauce. As for the service feels like you’re walking into your own front door always greeted with kindness and a friendly face, they’re quick with getting your food to you while still keeping a clean calm pace and making you feel right at home. I cannot recommend this place enough…a must try for sure!

We ordered a pizza and wing special last night, 11/11/2025, via DoorDash. Our pizza had meatballs, mushrooms, & onions. Our wings had ‘Funk’ sauce. We must tell you that this was the most delicious we’ve had in a long time!! Kudos to Artanis Pizza and to Door Dash!! Thank you, Rocco and Tami Mesagna Verona, NY

First off, being overcooked makes it a bad review no matter what. Pizza was overcooked so I really couldn't taste the ingredients, the cheese sizzled right away onto the dough, some nasty garlic sauce was spread on the dough I could smell that in the car when I first put the pizza and I knew that was not going to be good. The dough is pretty flavorless sorry I imagine they had the garlic butter to it? Maybe a little more salt in the dough and no salty garlic oil would be better🤷 so the main thing is it's overcooked which makes it tasteless except for the salty oil residue. I'm sorry for the two stars, because the staff is wonderful! Very nice and kind on the phone and doubly nice in person😔

I live in a city that is full of pizza places, and THIS is the only one I will ever go to. All of the food is perfect. The slices are REAL NEW YORK SLICES!! They also offer gluten free pizza. The service is great. You're not ignored when you walk in, and if you're standing there waiting..staff continually checks to make sure you've been helped. They even say please and thank you, which is unfortunately rare around here. I haven't tried the riggies yet, but I will update when I do.

First time visit. Found on Google Maps. Very good pizzas. We got a large meatball, pepperoni, and mushroom pizza. Really good. Garlic knots were good as well. Slices of chicken bacon ranch pizza was good.
