Great service and dining area settings. The appetizers: fresh wrap and deep fried tofu and drink were great. However the chef special Volcano combo was not that good. Chicken, shrimp, vegetables and the gravy were not integrated well.
This place was really cute. We ordered chicken wings, spring rolls, spicy basil fried rice, drunken man noodles, Thai iced tea, Thai limeade and brown sugar boba tea. Everything was really good. The food was hot and fresh. The service was fine. Our only complaints were that the Thai tea was more milky than we’re used to. It didn’t have a strong tea flavor. Also, they charged us 75 cents for NO ice in the boba tea. Why would you charge someone for that?! And not inform us there would be a charge??? Aside from that, we enjoyed our meal.
This place is so good! I used to live in the area, but moved a little further away a couple years ago. I've always supported this restaurant when I lived in this area, because it's one of the few restaurants worth eating at in that area, especially for an Asian restaurant. I went back with a couple of friends for the first time since moving, & it's still so good! We had the Weeping Tiger, Pad Thai, Pad See Ewe, Waterfall Beef Salad, Laarb, Pork Skewers, Papaya Salad, & Larb meatballs. We spent about $160, which is on the high end imo. The weeping tiger was really good along with the dipping sauce. The steak was really well seasoned & charred. Wish the piece of steak was bigger though. The Pad Thai was good. I'm a bigger fan of Pad See Ewe though, & theirs is great as well, a must-order
Their Pad Kee Mow (Drunken Man Noodles) was very well made especially with the taste of basil sauce covered very well over every noodle there. Their Basil Fried rice had the right amount of 'medium' level spice proportional to the amount of taste you get out of it which made the spiciness worth it. Plentiful of rice for two people. And their volcano shrimp had the a really unique sauce which was very tasty but not at all too sugary in any way. The food order was quicker than normal and their staff were cordial & friendly to help with my order.
Pretty nice restaurant. Didn’t take long for us for our food to arrive. Food was great(besides the dumplings) & great service. Update: Pretty pleasant experience for me so far. Enjoyed it especially with the foods that I ate. Definitely will come again.
