Pretty good place, fried green beans and homemade ranch was tasty! Ricotta mixture in the manicotti was divine- the only downside was the amount of mozzarella cheese melted on top of the pasta dishes! Definitely a choking hazard 😆
I got into Asheville late so I wasn't able to go to the restaurant itself but I did a doordash. I'll tell you what I was so impressed with the pizza that I ordered If you read any of my other reviews I am very particular about the food My last pizza which was in Murphy North Carolina was just so subpar I thought I'm never getting a pizza again But I'll tell you what even though it was a doordash and you don't you don't get it like right away. It was fantastic There was ample amount of cheese the crust was fantastic it was crunchy had enough thickness to it. Didn't have an overwhelming amount of sauce on it. The flavors were outstanding and they put fresh mushrooms and onions on. They could have put maybe just a little bit more toppings on but I'm telling you overall this gets a five-star
10/10. Clean restaurant, delicious food, good prices, and our waitress was amazing. She was so sweet. I wish I got her name! Would definitely recommend if you want a good meal. We got the grill chicken, Greek salad, side of fries, hot tub, red velvet, cheesecake, and baklava cheesecake.
Absolutely delicious. The chicken was juicy with a little crisp on the outside and the Greek salad dressing was fresh and flavorful. Portions were generous and the service was quick despite how busy it was. Also I highly recommend getting a piece of baklava to finish out your meal!
We had not been to Apollo in a while and decided to stop for lunch. My husband ordered the Gyro Sandwich on Pita Bread, which he enjoyed very much. I ordered a small cheese pizza with mushrooms. The server brought my plate and other items to the table. The plate was COLD, as in refrigerator cold. I told her it was too cold to put my pizza on, and she replaced it with another COLD plate. My husband insisted on yet a third plate, so she went and got one from the kitchen that wasn’t freezing cold. NOTE: she put the ones I handled back with the others in the cabinet next to where we were sitting, to be given to a future customers – that should never have happened. The pizza itself was a mess. Doughy crust; didn’t really taste any sauce; and way too much cheese. I ate it because I was so
