Angelino Restaurant

I was skeptical when I heard the good reviews of this place because it is square in the middle of tourist Sausalito where you don't ordinarily get first class food. But was I ever wrong. It's a lovely restaurant with very friendly service, nice room with a view of the city, and, most importantly, fantastic food. The scallops were particularly good: small firm, and as sweet as they come. The octopus appetizer was a nice mix of ingredients, with perhaps a bit too much vinegar. The mushrooms served over the veal were incredibly flavorful. Even had a minor celebrity sighting at the bar (Barry Bonds). Seemed to be a lot of regulars. Prices about normal for an upscale restaurant: 3 courses and wine came to $135/person with tip.

I recently visited Angelino Restaurant and had a really nice experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a cozy dining area and friendly staff who made us feel welcome right away. The pizza was delicious — the crust had a great balance of crispness and chew, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It definitely felt like an authentic Italian touch. They also have other Italian dishes on the menu that looked tempting, so I’d love to come back and try more. Service was attentive without being overwhelming, and the location by the water adds to the charm of the place. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that it can get busy, and the wait time for food was a little longer than expected. We that was the best cioppino I’ve ever had. I am a French chef and I know. Wish we had taken a photo but we were in the moment and had to start eating immediately. Monday night dinner. Must come here every Monday and any day of the week. Service incredible, drinks amazing. Atmosphere, super cozy, but also dreamy fancy. And the view is romantic. Enjoy!

Indulging in authentic Italian flavors at this restaurant was an absolute treat! The bolognese was rich and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the freshly made noodles. The bread, with its crispy exterior and pillowy soft interior, was a delightful addition to the meal. However, the noisy ambiance slightly dampened the dining experience. And the price was a little pricey overall given the portion of one pasta served. Nevertheless, for those craving genuine Italian fare, this spot is worth a visit! 🍝🇮🇹

Love the restaurant super cute. The lady seating was super sweet. Food was phenomenal specially the bolognese. Service was okay, there was a server there I wish I remembered his name but he was more attentive than our server.
