MJ Sushi

Nice new place. Sushi was delicious. Spicy tuna had actual spice. Was not over sauced. Yummy miso. Sushi roll bites are a bit large, would have preferred it cut into 8 pieces. So much ginger and wasabi provided. I also think your tip options would be better if they didn’t start at 15%, people mostly tip 20% or more - staff is losing out.

I don’t know why this place isn’t packed. We are visiting from out of town and wanted reasonably priced but fresh sushi. MJ Sushi is delicious! We had the Honey Walnut Roll, BB Roll, Hot Mama Roll and 2 orders of Pork Gyoza and everything was FABULOUS. Food was made right in our line of sight and came out fresh and fast. Perfect meal by the bay. Check this place out!!

Omg these guys rock, yummy affordable sushi and big portions, we came twice this week. Our waitress asked for our drink order, then said the first round was FREE, thats right , the three of us got two beers and a coke, free. We loved the house special rolls, the calamari was very good too. Since they just opened this week we were able to walk in and sit down on a Friday night at 7pm, but it’s not gonna last… I’m sure in a few weeks, once the word get out there will be a wait for a table at peak hours…

Great portions of high quality sushi. No idea why there aren’t more people here. Such a deal!

Our favorite sushi place in Sausalito! We absolutely love MJ Sushi — it’s our go-to spot for fresh, delicious sushi and a wonderful atmosphere. The restaurant is spacious and relaxing, never too noisy even when it’s busy. The servers Yanis and Jane are always friendly, attentive, and thoughtful, checking on every detail. The sushi chefs Jun and Jacky make everything beautifully fresh, and once they even made a special roll that wasn’t on the menu — it was amazing! And special thanks to Ken, who’s always working hard in the kitchen and brings such a positive energy — we really appreciate everyone’s effort. We love this place — the food, the vibe, and the people. Highly recommend! 🍣💕
