Sushi Ran

Just had a wonderful meal at Sushi Ran. It was my husband's birthday and raining heavily. Not only did they deliver the take out to my car, but their to go boxes make the meal look like a high end gift. Delicious from start to finish! Definitely the best sushi we've had in Marin and already look forward to going back.

There is no shortage of sushi places in the Bay Area but this Sausalito classic is in a category of its own. Truly outstanding sushi at prices that are reasonable given the quality. All of that on the Bay is Sausalito. They also have a great sake choice and good Coravin wine selection

Great food, service and prices. We had the Crunch roll and kaisen futo-maki and they were amazing. Will definitely come back.

The atmosphere was pleasant, the service was friendly, and the dishes looked nice, but the flavors just didn’t stand out. I was expecting more - everything tasted a bit bland.

This is by far one of the best sushi restaurants in the entire Bay Area. It is authentic - the owner was born and raised in Japan. Every aspect from the highest quality fish to the presentation to the attentive staff represents Japanese care & precision. When I told a few friends that I came here, they said “It is seriously the best.” An employee told me the restaurant started in the 80s and occupied only a small portion of the front of the building. They have expanded so much. My favorite is the outdoor dining area with heat lamps. Ignore the rating and stop by. You will be so happy you did!!
