I ordered 2 sandwiches, 2 fries and 2 ice creams on a Tuesday. 60 plus dollars later, I thought the food was really good, but expensive. The Order included a small ice cream with hot fudge and a medium twist. On Friday, I went back for just ice cream, another small cup with hot fudge and a large twist, because the medium on Tuesday was too small. Both ice creams were smaller than on Tuesday. The large was smaller than the medium. I asked,” is this a large?”, the manager said yes, that the ice cream was inside the cone. A small and large, 14 dollars. I live on Long Island, I know when I’m getting scammed. It’s not that hard to make someone happy getting ice cream. Will not support Andersons if this is the way they treat their customers. Sorry for the long message, don’t usually do
Unfortunately this Anderson's hits way below the mark when compared to Adrian's. I have yet to be impressed with the quality or the service. I've had my order made incorrectly on 2 different occasions now, with the wait being in excess of 20 minutes. Those poor girls fight for their lives at the counter, and there's never more than 2 or them up there at a time. I ordered a large root beer float this time round which is more expensive than a large custard btw, and received the equivalent of a small ice cream with half a cup of root beer in it. I'll just stick to the island shoppe.
This Andersons location is very disappointing. I’ve given them several tries as mistakes and “bad batches” do happen. However, my last FOUR consecutive milkshakes have been so beyond freezer burnt tasting that they are not edible. Very disappointed.
I grew up near the Andersons on Sheridan Drive and have always loved their food. I went to the location on Grand Island today and the roast beef sandwich I had was terrible. The beef was overcooked and dry, the roll was hard and stale. Curly french fries were hard. Not impressed at all.
Nice place, good decor and atmosphere. I was not around long enough to see this location as Adrian’s, but it seems to fit the theme well from what I have heard and seen of the predecessor. Good lemon chiffon, ample dining space and nice outdoor area. Small place but good experience.
