20's Hideout Steakhouse

An easy location to get to we arrived around 4:45 pm and it was already getting busy. We didn’t have reservations so they sat us over in the bar area. No problem as it was more secluded and quiet than the open dining room. The decor is of a 1920’s Speakeasy with all employees dressing the part as well. My wife had a 6 oz. Flat iron steak cooked to medium well and the chef nailed it. I had Cajun chicken with a slab of baby back ribs and a side of baked sweet potato. Chef nailed that one too. The Cajun was not overly spicy and the chicken was as moist as I’ve ever eaten. The ribs fell off the bone and had a nice BBQ sauce that was slightly sweet. An overall great food experience. This restaurant hits 11 out of 10 on everything. Food,Service, Atmosphere. Our waiter went above and beyond. He could give a class on exceptional customer service. We are just traveling through but will put it on our must stop when in the area map.

The best Ribeye I’ve ever had, and their Caesar salad was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect, and the wonderfully talented pianist really solidified that I’ll be back the very next time I’m in town. I’ve been bragging about this place for the last week, just so I can come back with more friends.

17 years ago during an extended work trip to the area, we enjoyed dinner here after getting engaged. We've been back a handful of times over the years and always have a wonderful experience. On our way home from a vacation today we decided to stop for the night too enjoy dinner. Little did we know it was homecoming!! Despite being fully booked, the host was so kind to get us in after a short wait. Dinner was as wonderful as we remember, the staff was so kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere was on point. Looking forward to our next visit!!

The Hideout is a Marion icon. Food and service is always good Atmosphere is great. We enjoy it. A word of caution. If you have a shellfish allergy be sure to tell your server. They cook the Blooming Onion in the same oil they cook shellfish in. One of our party had a reaction. Took several hits of Benadryl to calm things down. Allergies aside you will enjoy the Hideout.
