Zac's Hamburgers

For about $12.80ish I got a double cheeseburger with everything on it, an order of fries and a fountain drink. The fries reminded me of the original old school McDonald's Fries like the good pre 2000's version. The burger was substantial, with hot & sweet peppers, mustard, that perfect melting cheese and just the right amount of grease umami flavor. The place was fairly busy and filled with a mix of locals and people who were seeking a good comfort food. You can tell this place is a burger institution and have kept their prices reasonable.

The patty was very thin, the bun is a cressoint.. I ordered a Swiss cheese and please.. look at the pictures. Almost 20 dollars with tip and a milkshake. No substitute for a soda plus a little more for a shake. The fried are shoelace fries. They were good.. Not going back. Sorry.

Always good food at a great price. Staff is pleasant and building is clean. However the reason for 3 stars is that online orders seems to take longer than the apps state. I was told that my estimated pickup time would be 30 minutes by the app for 6:03PM for the food to be ready. I arrived around 6:08 PM and gave my name for the order was told a few more minutes which was fine. I sat and waited an additional 40 minutes before I went up again to ask for the status of my order. It was prepared and sitting at the back area with all the other prepared food. I asked how long the food was waiting and was told she just finished the order. I truly do doubt this as my fries were already getting cold in the bag. No one called the name for the finished order and I know the person may be just trying

As a food truck owner myself , I was curious to see what the restaurant was offering since we saw how many food trucks they had . I was going to give a four stars due to the nice cashier that helped me, but the cooks took that point out. I waited about 20 mn for my food with no apologies when I mentioned that some orders got served prior to mine. Cheeseburgers / fries were affordable and ok.

Ordered on grubhub and I will never order Zack’s again. The Fries taste/look like they were cooked in old grease, the burgers taste bad the bread was soggy and the lettuce was brown and not fresh also the hot dogs were horrible. The chocolate milk shake arrived not covered. $50 down the drain
