What a pleasant surprise. 😎 Just moved back in the area from being out of state for quite some time and was looking for a good cheesesteak. I tried some new places that were good and some old places that survived but was told by my brother in law who's from Italy to try Mike & Emma's as he couldn't believe that I haven't had them and grew up here. Well, it was great! The roll was exceptional and surprising because we're surrounded by good local rolls and the meat was great quality etc. Definitely my new go to! The owners were very friendly and all smiles and I hope you get to enjoy for yourself. NOTE : Cash only. Hats off to M&E.

The my have closed the dine in option which is was really hoping to experience so that was a big loss. The side door where you order doesn’t make it clear you can’t better do that was awkward. We were greeted timely by a very masked up young lady who seemed eager enough to answer but didn’t have any responses back to what the menu had to offer. We were given 25 min for food and took a walk. The quality of the steak meat was good but not enough cheese or onions. The bread was tasty and hearty. Overall I’d go back but would hope for better customer service and toppings. It was good enough that I’d go back and see if they could improve Hooke their offerings. It’s one of the better cheese steaks in DELCO.

I’ve got a military brother who lives 17 miles from here right across the Walt Whitman bridge who I’ve been wanting to come see for 15 years.. in 2025 I got to Lancaster and turned around because of the traffic was insane at 11pm…. But now that I know Mike and Emma’s awaits downtown.. Consider 2026 the year of the sandwich.. that is my beautiful anonymous resolution! To come partake ❤️❤️ who knows if I’ll make it the extra 17 miles but I’m grabbing a couple sandwiches..

Got some hoagies, the one I ate was a spicy Italian with some spicy peppers on it and it was great. Staff was kind it just took a bit which I can't blame the hoagie was jam packed. the inside seems welcoming, ate in the car though. I respect it.

Original owners. Authentic Italian food ie cheesesteaks are made with fresh sauteed onions and peppers with garden tomatoes. Absolutely delicious!
