The restaurant has a great vibe, but it’s a little misleading. The atmosphere makes you expect more than what you actually get. The food is pretty basic, and the portions are small for the prices they charge. If you pay with a credit card, there’s also a 3% fee added, which is something to be aware of. The service was quick, but it was somewhat limited and not very attentive. Overall, the place looks great, but the food and value didn’t quite live up to the setting.

This place can’t be beat! Ian tried, but failed miserably. They came back better than before! The food, drinks, atmosphere are fantastic! The shrimp are killer! Drinks are tasty. Live music! What more can you ask??

Not going to lie, this is a great spot right near the beach. I’ve been here a few times and the food, service, and portion sizes are usually good. My last visit sucked. The shrimp tacos had very small pieces of shrimp and still left me hungry. The sweet potato fries were cold, and my soda was flat. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their food, but our waiter seemed uninterested and like he didn’t want to be there. I’d still come back just wouldn’t order the shrimp tacos again and I’m hoping my next visit is better.

Yucatan Bar & Grill Ft Myers Beach Stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon. Got a table fast and our waiter Quinton was on the ball with our drinks. I ordered the Clam Chowder for appetizer and we both ordered the Grouper Sandwich Blackened with Coleslaw, and my wife got the Rice & Beans. Our Clam Chowder came out first and it was very good I loved it. My Grouper Sandwich came out but somehow, they gave up my wife’s Grouper Sandwich to someone else as explained by Quinton. He did say they were making another one for her as fast as they could. Mine was about halfway done when hers came out. These Sandwiches were huge and very good with all the fixing on them. We both could barely eat the entire meal and in fact we left with a doggy bag. The food here is very good and this place has such a great

We love this food and drink stop in FMB! Great service, super friendly people, and such a fun atmosphere. The outdoor seating is perfect, and the swings at the bar make it a must-stop spot. A relaxed, island vibe with good food and drinks—exactly what you want while in Fort Myers Beach. A treasured memory was stopping to support this favorite establishment the week following hurricane Ian. They were doing their best to serve and stay afloat. It was outside service only as the inside had too much damage. They worked to keep guest happy. They served a limited menu, and drinks without ice. There was a musician that played by the hum of generators. It was resiliency that deserved respect. We’ll always be back!
