Dixie Fish Company

We had an absolutely fantastic dinner at Dixie Fish Company on our recent trip to Fort Myers Beach! This historic waterfront spot has such a cool, authentic old-Florida vibe with its open-air setting right on the water-breezy views of the boats and Matanzas Pass, plus live music that made the evening even more enjoyable. The food was outstanding and super fresh. Everything tasted like it was just pulled from the Gulf that day. Portions were generous, and the prices felt very fair for the quality and location. Service was top-notch—our server was friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. The whole staff had that welcoming, laid-back energy that makes you feel right at home. This place was awesome. Everything was great. The food was fantastic. I had their specialty fried fish, which was on the Food Network. You can't go wrong. There are bones, but you can get past them. It's really good fish. Our waiter Gus was amazing. He was always on top of everything and made sure we were taken care of. We did have to wait a while, about 45 minutes for our table, but it was well worth it. The atmosphere is great. Highly recommended, go here if you're in Fort Myers.

We went to dinner here the other night and absolutely loved it! Mahi mahi was the catch of the day and it was the best mahi I’ve ever eaten. Their key lime pie was also superb! Their kid’s meals come in a frisbee plate that you get to take home which is fun. They also have live music every night that we got to enjoy. We were seated by the water and got to enjoy beautiful views of the canal during our dinner.

Great place for great drinks and food! The fried whole fish (featured on Food Network) was hands down the best snapper I've ever had! The fish & chips was also delicious! Views of the bay and bridge were awesome! Jessi was our server and was awesome!

Highly Recommended! Everything was fantastic, great atmosphere, beautiful views, and even live music on a Monday! The food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!
