Yo Philly Cheese Steaks

We were very lucky to have found this gem here in Portland/Corpus Christi! Food was absolutely fantastic, the Owner & family gave wonderful inviting hospitality and warmth. Plus the restaurant is loaded down with Philly memorabilia, very nostalgic experience. Saving this place to return every time I’m here! 5 Stars across the board!! Thanks Yo Philly!

Drove down on a whim. I'm not a local but, I like to chase down good food. Yo philly didn't disappoint. If I heard right the owns a philly native and did well to capture the flavors and vibe of oh llt and the live of community inside the restaurant. As for the food again it's not just an attempt to be an imitation of the genos or pats recipes. No they do YO Philly and they do it very well. I had the philly combo and I broke the usual rules adding pepper mushrooms and onions on their version of a cheese wit. Which have prov and whiz. That said the normally over look hard roll was perfect. Solid hard stands up to the generous filling with a great chew. Onion rings were cooked perfectly battered and sweet slightly buttery. Excellent food, and plenty of it. This location is multi themed with loaded of sports and Hollywood decorations. Well worth the visit.

The place was on point authentic taste. It's been a while that I get a Philly with no onions and it is no onions usually has after taste. But wow delicious and the desert forget about it.

The girl that took our order today around 12 was very nice she made us feel welcome! Our new favorite place ! 🤗 The food is very good !!! Best hamburgers in town !
