Wings Up 1

Went here today at about 6PM. Maybe my order wasn’t right because they were closing at 7. I ordered 3 pieces of what was suppose to be catfish in addition to a combo pack that came with fries, salad and a drink. My order came up really quickly. It came up quicker than the folks that ordered after me. I went to the car to eat my food but the taste of the “catfish “immediately threw me completely off. It had a fatty taste sort of like a catfish nugget. I don’t think it was cooked all the way or it wasn’t catfish. I’ve eaten catfish all my life so I know what it tastes like. The Swai that everyone passes as catfish tastes better than what I was served. So I broke a piece to inspect and noticed that it had more fat then typically so It didn’t appear cooked throughly. I've eaten here before and the food is to be as expected. It's chicken, fish and fried rice. Simple food, so you know what you're getting. I have no problem coming back again and again. What I do have a problem with is that you can't make a phone order. So, if I wanted 1000 pieces, I'd have to wait for them to fry 1k wings? That would dang near take over an hour of wait time to fry that instead of letting me pay for it over the phone and just picking it up at a stated time.

Wings Up is a true gem in New Orleans! They serve some of the best wings I’ve ever tasted, with bold, delicious flavors and a wide variety to satisfy any craving. We frequently order party trays from this restaurant, and they never disappoint. On top of the amazing food, the owner is incredibly friendly, supportive, and actively gives back to the local community church. Highly recommended!

I would never in my life go back here. I order a 25pc and had to pay for ketchup. Even for the chicken tenders you got to pay for the sauce. Smfh😡

This wing spot is a hidden gem! The chicken tenders and shrimp plate with the sweet chili sauce is absolutely delicious, perfectly crispy and full of flavor. It’s a small mom-and-pop shop, but the food speaks for itself. Definitely recommend checking it out!
