Windy Hill Bed & Breakfast

While visiting the White Mountains for a couple of days in early July, we were very lucky to have our home base be the idyllic Windy Hill farm, which is an attraction in itself. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch after dark, facing the pasture and the mountains, with only the sounds of the birds and the light of the moon. In the mornings, we can't have enough of the owner Anne's unique home-cooked breakfasts, while looking out of the windows to her beautiful hayfield, the grazing cattle, and the mountains afar. Anne also suggested an amazing hiking trail for us that turned out to be much better than the ones that we originally looked up. We also had so much fun watching Anne feeding yogurt to the piglets. All in all, Windy Hill B&B is hands down the best place to stay for anyone v

Windy Hill was originally supposed to be just stop on our way to Maine, but it ended up being one of the most special experiences of our trip. The owners Anne and Bob made us feel at home right away and were great to chat with. It felt more like staying with relatives. They gave us lots of great advice about local hikes, restaurants (I recommend Bob's favourite place, the Red Fox, by the way!) and the rest of our trip, and included us in the life of the farm. We slept well and ate a glorious homemade breakfast looking out at one of the most beautiful view I have ever seen of the White Mountains. I can't wait to go back!

One of our best stays during our road trip in the White Mountains. Ann is such a lovely, nice, warm and funny host. We can’t recommend this beautiful, warm, clean and cozy place enough! ||She helped us a lot with our hiking trail to Mount Washington, gave us warm clothes and shoes and prepared us every morning a jummy breakfast with eggs, pancakes, juice and coffee.||The rooms a very clean, comfortable and sweet. We were allowed to use the kitchen for preparing our dinner and we could also do our laundry.||We will definitely come back to this amazing farm and our lovely host Ann!!

We stayed here for a couple of nights during our New England road trip. The views are amazing and the surroundings very quiet. It's a bit of a drive up the mountain, but that didn't bother us. We loved Anne, she makes a damn good breakfast and has excellent hiking advice, mostly by her own experience. She cookes a healthy dinner on request, that was a nice change up with the local restaurant scene.

Staying at Windy Hell B&B was a refreshing change from staying in a town. Anne’s place is very peaceful and it was lovely to stay in a natural environment.||||We stayed in Room 3 and it is large with a separate bathroom and an adjoining laundry which can be used for $1 a wash and $1 to dry. We felt very comfortable in Anne’s home and were able to use the kitchen to make a coffee/tea and have use of the refrigerator. Our room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable and although it was chilly outside, we were nice and warm. The room has large windows overlooking the woods and farm.||||We had dinner at Anne’s one night which was very relaxing ($22 per person) and her breakfast choices are extensive.||||You need a car to access this property.||||Would recommend this b&b if you would li
