The Inn at Jackson

Positive: Location, delicious breakfast, cleanliness, cozy! Negative: The mattresses in room 8 were extremely bouncy! Also TV was tiny and difficult to view. The hot tub wasn?t available due to snow

We recently stayed here and love the Town of Jackson. We've stayed at the Wentworth Inn and Christmas Farm Inn before, and I’d recommend either one of these next time! After paying $222.63 per night for a second-floor room and breakfast, it was not worth it. The breakfast choice was the same for two days and was just okay. I was expecting a better menu. Parking is in an open dirt lot, and you need to maneuver your car to find a space. There are stairs to climb to access the house, and an older couple had rented a room on the third floor, which required them to carry their bags up three flights. Contactless registration. The envelope was there with the name on it and the key to the room. Checking out was a basket to leave a key. No contact with any help, except for the waiter taking our bre

My partner and I stayed here on a vacation driving down the east coast from Maine. The room was outdated with peeling walls and poor ventilation particularly in the bathroom. Our breakfast was good, same both days, but the contactless/impersonal key system left a bit to be desired. We want a more personal touch which is why people go to a B&B. The fire pit is nice out in the parking lot. It's nice that the location has a hot tub.

I want to start by saying I am in love with this house. It’s big and beautiful with its original details and cozy, charming, modest furnishings/decor. Seriously if I could, I would purchase this house, completely furnished as is. Maybe I would become an inn keeper, maybe I would just love living in a big cozy storybook home! We came to town from 5 hours away for the Jingle Bell chocolate tour and horse drawn sleigh ride at nearby Nestlenook Farm (separate review)We arrived to the inn around 4:30 pm. Upon arrival I was disappointed to see the very minimal Christmas lights that adorned the house. It was nothing like what you find in their Google Photos. The house is beautiful with its original details & cozy, charming, modest furnishings/decor. Our stay was 12/14. We arrived to the inn 4:30 pm. I was disappointed to see the very minimal Christmas lights (1 strand only) Nothing like what you find in their Google Photos. Unfortunately the holiday decor was sparse inside as well. Two Xmas trees, but no garland or lights on the stair case or doorways. Check in time, on a 20° snowy night the fireplace was cold and dark. No cozy fire to welcome guests. While the mantle was decorated, it would have been lovely if the garland had lights & there was some soft Xmas music playing from the speakers on the mantle . There was no receptionist to greet us, envelopes with first names only. We reserved room 02 Josiah Bartlett Room . $226 for the one even
