OH MY GOD. If you're soul ever needs some recharging, this is the place to do it. As soon as you walk in you feel the loving energy and calmness as the plants greet you. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and attentive. I got their famous chicken and waffles. Hands down this my favorite chicken and waffles I have ever eaten in my life. The flavors are perfection. Man… Williams Confectionery Crafts done messed around and cooked me a plate straight outta my grandma’s kitchen. I sat down thinking I was just gonna eat, but when that mac & cheese hit my fork? I almost called my mama to apologize for all the times I said her food was “just okay.” The green beans tasted like they been simmering since Moses parted the Red Sea, squash and onions so tender they slid into my spirit, and that roll? Having moved 38 times in 40 years, I literally don’t know the feeling of “home” but between Ms. Joyce’s inspirational faith and all the ladies’ great service, camaraderie, and folding you as a newcomer here like you’ve been sipping coffee there forever, I imagine that’s what home would feel like especially when you add in the food or deserts; homestyle at its finest! My mom and I were looking to grab lunch and decided to stop by Williams Confectionery Crafts. We were very pleased with the food and the service! My mom got the Loaded biscuit with a side of sausage gravy. I had a bite and it was very delicious! Sometime you go places and loaded means messy. Not the case with Williams Loaded Biscuits. Lots of flavor that held its shape! I got the Chicken and waffles with a side of grits. This was my first time having chicken and waffles and I feel it’s appropriate to say that this has set an extremely high bar for future chicken and waffles.
