Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

We had a good lunch today. Arrived at 1115 and was seated right away. Dominique T greeted us, went over the specials and answered all our questions. She did a fantastic job making sure we had everything as requested. The CYO Pasta with angel hair, meat sauce and shrimp was much bigger than expected for a lunch portion, but so good. My eggplant parm was delicious as always. Of course we had the OG salad and hot breadsticks to get the meal started.

We visited Olive Garden and had a wonderful dining experience with both food and service. As always, the warm, welcoming atmosphere made it a pleasant place to enjoy a family meal. We started with appetizers, and the toasted ravioli and stuffed ziti fritta were absolutely delicious. Both were cooked perfectly with a nice crunch on the outside and rich, cheesy filling inside. These quickly became our favorites and set the tone for the rest of the meal. For the main course, we tried the chicken parmesan, chicken fettuccine alfredo, and the chicken gnocchi soup, along with the famous garlic breadsticks and salad. We went for lunch and it wasn't crowded. We got seated quickly to a perfect table in the corner. The server was pleasant and got the order correct. The timing was very good as we had time to talk, eat salad and bread sticks before the chicken parmesan came out. The food was the perfect temperature.

At first, we tried to be understanding since our server had a large party, but things quickly went downhill. We had to ask for our salads, and our appetizer took over 30 minutes—only to be messed up. Once the big party left, our service somehow got worse. The server would ask if we needed something, say “okay,” and then forget—only to come back and ask again. It even took 20 minutes just to get one drink, and by then, we were his only table. He was quick to grab our card for the check, but never brought our to-go drinks. We waited another 15 minutes and still got nothing. On top of that, none of the servers seemed to be paying attention to where they were walking—I was bumped into three times, even after trying to move out of their way. The worst part? First time coming to this Olive Garden and I loved it. The food was great, fresh. Our server was awesome, friendly. Staff was great. Definitely recommend.
