We had a very nice stay at the Moose Twin cottage. It was perfect for our trip to Homer. My folks had their own room, kitchen and bath as we did. The outside rap around deck was very nice which allowed us to visit. Anne has done a fantastic job with the decor. If you want to experience a flavor of Alaska with great views of the Kachemak Bay and Homer Spit, you would be hard pressed to find a better experience. That and the fact that we limited out on Halibut both days well before noon made it a trip we will remember.

Wild Rose Cabins is by far the best place I've stayed at in Homer. There were a total of 5 of us (4 adults) and we were able to rent a cabin where we could all stay together. Cabin was spacious, well stocked, and well kept. Beautiful view from our cabin. We could watch the planes take off from Beluga Lake and had a clear view of the Spit.

There are three cabins on the property. We booked the "small" one which was barely enough room to walk around the beds and small kitchenette. The only interior door was on the bathroom. As we went for dinner Mrs. Anne said we could move to the two moose cabin since the other family was delayed. This was a much bigger room. It was two separate units that did not connect on the interior. One room had one bed, kitchenette, and bathroom. The other side had two beds, kitchenette, and bathroom. The 3 of us stayed in the one with 2 beds. It had a musty smell (a candle or plug in freshener would have gone a long way).... Mrs. Anne was very kind when we checked in and asked about our fishing the next day. Mr. Alex came by to make sure we knew how to start the oil burning heater. It kept the room v

We stayed in the “Raspberry Cottage” and loved it. The cottage was so quiet and comfortable. Anne greeted us when we arrived and made us feel at home. The kitchen has everything you need including pancake mix, etc. There is also a grill on the deck. Raspberries were ripe for the picking in front of the deck. Live plants adorned the inside and outside our our little house. We would definitely stay here again!

Wild Rose Cabin was our home away from home for 3 nights. It was a cozy cabin with a tremendous view. Where else can you lie in bed and see Kachemak Bay? The cabin contained a full kitchen, frig, stove, queen bed, comfy chair, table w/4 chairs, WiFi and a grill. Books and magazines were available in the cabin. The cable TV was nice but the TV was very small. Nice bathroom with shower. Located in a secluded area makes for a quiet stay. Homer Spit is about 10 minute drive. Rates were good compared to the other properties in Homer. ||||When we arrived they were defrosting the refrigerator in our cabin. Since the cabin was carpeted, there was a wet spot around the frig and the sink that made for soggy socks, ||||Our cabin was a duplex so I am sure the other half was similar to ours
