Bay Avenue Inn

Really nice place to stay In Homer or anywhere else in Alaska. We travel to Alaska every year and this is the nicest place we have stayed. Lori is a gem of a host and her B&B is so charming and comfortable. People come to Homer for fishing or bears but the photography is stunning. The view from her backyard is stunningly beautiful. Nice breakfast too. Check it out.

Very nice bed and breakfast, we stayed two nights in a 2nd floor room with a lovely view of Homer Spit and Kachemak Bay. Location is great, between "downtown" and the Spit one street off the main arterial road, but still very private and quiet. The owner Lori is a great host, very friendly and helpful, and has the sweetest dog Yarra. Breakfast was nice, a combination of continental breakfast and also eggs if you want to cook up your own egg dish in the big well provisioned kitchen (we scrambled some to go with two different delicious toasted breads from Two Sisters Bakery). On the second floor, there is a separate kitchenette area with fridge, sink, microwave and coffee and tea as well as a separate entrance (which we appreciated so we didn't have to tromp through the main floor to get to

We had a great stay for our fishing trip. Comfortable rooms with a great view of the spit, water, and mountains. Owners were so warm and friendly and great to talk to. Self serve breakfast was fantastic with great homemade bread, jam, eggs, cereal and more. I would highly recommend this place for an awesome stay in Homer!

Stayed here in 2021 and 2022. Owner / hostess excels at hospitality. Great location for venturing out for bear viewing and other activities. Also a great location for temporary remote work (from experience).

Great Bed & Breakfast. Lori, the host is friendly & was very accommodating of us and our boat. Nice full kitchen that you can cook your own food in and enjoy on the beautiful deck or inside at a large table with great views of Kachemak Bay. A nice quiet place with easy access to Homer Spit or downtown.
