Wholesome Hearth B & B

Wholesome Hearth is a simple B&B in the center of Barre. It is clean, well maintained but not luxurious (and has a shared bath). It is a good place if you need or want to be in the Barre area but is probably not a destination in its self (nor is Barre really). We were there for a wedding and the Wholesome Hearth was a good alternative to driving back to Boston after a wedding reception.|

I was in town for a wedding, and came upon the wholesome hearth. Our hostess was very accomodating, welcoming, and pleasant. The rooms were antique simple, clean, with a shared bath. Nothing luxurious, but very unique in the decor. The wholesome hearth definitely fit our needs for a one night stay.

If you are looking for a good bed and breakfast with very kind service you should stay with Lisa in Wholesome Hearth B&B. The rooms are simple and the bath is shared, but the service is very kind.||The B&B is less than 3 minutes walk from "center" of Barre.

The service was wonderful, kind and personal. The room was fitted to our needs, and the atmosphere was very homelike. Our hostess went above and beyond in answering our questions and catering to our specific needs.
