This was a real treat. A wonderful piece of Americana. They just don’t make restaurants like this anymore. If you are in this area make sure to stop in. I had the southwestern omelet. Came with homestyle potatos, toast and coffee. And get this: $9.99. Everything is natural, freshly cooked and served up hot. Friendly staff and obviously all the locals know about this place. Really enjoyed my breakfast.

We recently visited for breakfast and then dinner another day. Breakfast was good, eggs over easy were perfect! Grilled English golden brown. I asked for butter and was given 2 little squares, kinda stingy with the butter,lol. Saturday early dinner, the place was nearly full, there were no dining room tables, we sat in the counter area at one of three tables. We were intrigued by the 28.99 for two full dinners, ice tea or soda and two desserts!! Seriously! There is a whole list to choose from. My spouse chose baked haddock which was on the slightly dry side, but delicious. I chose Tuscan chicken ravioli in a garlic butter sauce. I ate half and took half home which reheated nicely. Food had decent size servings, were delicious. The waitress was professional and kind. We enjoyed the family like atmosphere of the setup. Experience would have been even better if this customer that came as well stopped coughing with her mouth open wide and blowing noisy booger rags every couple seconds- however that wasnt the restaurant's fault, it was that customer. Aside from that, wed definitely attend again! Great mom and pops diner!!

I love this restaurant! The food is awesome! The staff are always friendly and courteous. The prices are very reasonable. They have great specials all week and a two meal special on Saturdays. Also Janet makes the best pot roast!

Food was really good. What a jem that is off the beaten path. Chef is inventive in the menu items and the dishes are well executed and served hot. The haddock is fresh firm and delicious. We also had the stuffed chicken breast, another dish they did tasty and hot. Potatoes were very good tasing, but I could have used a bigger portion. We did not have desert because the portions were large enough and tasty enough to not call for it. Coffee was good as well.
