Pretty chill place....i order and then take it home....i ordered the honey and old spice flvored wings....they were good! I also ordered Oxtail rasta pasta which came with like two pieces of garlic naan bread or something but it was ❤️🔥...ordered regular oxtails and rrice n beans with mac n cheese/ yams...which was equally ❤️🔥....i also ordered beef patties and coco bread😂🤦🏿 soo i hit rhe big back and had a bowl for lunch the next day. 8 items total texh...around $90....but i mean typical carribean/soul food....$15-$30 plates....music was hip hop/ rnb....vobe was nice....i will be back for the Habachi plates and jerk rasta pasta. Everything had a touch of spice for those who want to know.if you cant eat spicy stuff...you may want to just have the mac and cheese and yams mix!
I’ve heard about this restaurant for years and finally had the pleasure of enjoying it during a community event in December. The southern fried chicken and plantains were delicious. I need to try the whiting which smelled even better but sold out pretty early that day. I’ve never had slaw like that - it was also so delicious! Service was fine. I look forward to checking out the restaurant, hopefully during a non-peak time 😅
when I tell you guys, this is the best Caribbean soul fusion restaurant I’ve ever been to. I’m not just saying that I mean it. The service is great. The atmosphere is so lively, music playing in the background. The staff is happy and hard at work. The owners are really kind, They even gave us a sample of their signature mac & cheese and yam (it was delicious). I highly suggest Coming here if you are in the Durham area. here in the picture is their jerk, chicken beans, and rice with a side of cabbage and a beef patty. The jerk chicken was jerking. The rice was so nice and fluffy. The cabbage was savory with a touch of sweetness, and the beef patty was so flaky and fresh.
My first time going. I ordered online and was told that my order would be ready at one time but when I arrived the young lady said my order didn't come through, and then she said they didn't have something that I ordered. I had to wait up to 25 min after the said pick up time. I was disappointed in the wait but the food was really good. The young lady the finally gave me my food wasn't too pleasant but maybe that's just her personality.
Great food, good customer service. Worth the wait in line. This place has amazing Caribbean inspired food. There is a wide price point with lunch size portions and pricing available for some dishes to make them more affordable. The food: the seasoning and flavor will make you come back again and again.
