Spices of Bengal

Mousumi has brought the true taste of Bengali cuisine to the Triangle area. Hers is the only place where we can get the taste of food that many years ago I tasted in my mom’s kitchen. She is also a delightful cordial person accommodating our requests.

I have been ordering from Spices of Bengal for almost two years now. Mousumi’s cooking is flawless…. Brings back wonderful memories of the food I grew up eating! It is really Bengali food at its best. Not only that, both of them are amazing, warm-hearted people, catering to our needs and requests as much as possible. I look forward to trying out the delicacies that emerge from her kitchen regularly!

Almost an hour long drive amidst high winds and heavy rains, and it was ABSOLUTELY worth it!! Mousumi di provided us with some of our favourite bengali dishes, from kochuri + torkari to fish fry to shorshe maach, topping them up with some delicious nolen gur er payesh. Fantastic hospitality and great food, for some time it felt like we were in Kolkata. Definitely gonna visit again, 10/10 recommend for every খাদ্যরসিক বাঙালি in the area!

Wonderful experience. We had a party food catered from Spices of Bengal. The food was AMAZING! The best Bengali food I have had since leaving Kolkata! And it was delivered hot, right on time. Thank you Mousumi Di for making the scrumptious platter!

Bengali cuisine at its best! Food is prepared with care, always fresh, and delicious. Mousumi is an excellent cook and a genuinely good soul.
