My pictures should tell it all so I ordered a Bahn Mi sandwich, which was $8.99 delicious and was like a foot-long! I also ordered the popcorn chicken, which was crispy and super delicious. The staff were friendly. Food was hot and fresh. It will definitely be back. Pro tip: they bake their sandwich bread in house and it was so crispy perfect for the sandwich. Also, management said that they will have pho coming soon!
Stopped here to pick up take out for a road trip. It was a little risky because this was the first time my kids have eaten Bahn Mi sandwiches. We got several different kinds and the favorite was the pork belly. We also got some boba tea! Everything was delicious and the service was awesome. I told them we were going on a trip and they packed the toppings separate so the sandwich could stay fresh as possible. There is small dining area with a few tables too.
I had high hopes for this place, with in-house baked bread for their banh mi. The bread itself, however, was not to my liking. It was soft and chewy, and did not have the classic crispy crust that would leave your entire shirt and pants covered in crumbs. I got the sandwich with a batch of bread fresh from the oven, and opened it not 10 minutes after it was packaged, so I don't believe it was a matter of waiting too long and becoming soggy. The fillings were very good, both the Vietnamese meatball and the pork. They did not have all the meats available for the Dac Biet unfortunately, so I'll have to come back to try that. The popcorn chicken was tasty, and the lychee iced tea was light and refreshing.
The freshly baked baguette is deliciously crispy and fragrant. The grilled meat filling is tender and richly seasoned! I like eating CRISPY PORK BELLY (HEO QUAY) with served separately, everything arranged on a plate so I can savour each bite. Yummy!!
Craved hot Vietnamese coffee. Came in big 16 oz paper cup, not the traditinal tin strainer over a ceramic cup. Rich and sweet like I was hoping. Lovely decor. French bread made in house. Will need to return soon for the banh mi
