Update: I wanted to update my rating because they responded very well to my review! I’m going to try again soon! My husband and I had the pleasure of eating here last night and we were extremely excited. We started out with lentil and beef sambusas (prefer lentil). It was so good and that sauce is very very well made with it, I’d buy that from a jar! Then we were conflicted and just decided to share the special which was a sampler of two meats and three vegetable dishes. Again, we preferred the lentils. The reason why we didn’t give all stars is because the beef in the Awaze Tibs was way too tough (my teeth are tender so I had to stop eating it and just ate everything around it) also the chicken also wasn’t as tender of the Doro Wat, also be careful of small bones in the sauce it comes

The food is so delicious it’s unbelievable! I have tried Ethiopian food before, but this was the first time I felt like I was eating the real deal. This restaurant sets the standard for authenticity. Every dish, from the deeply flavorful stews to the fresh, tangy injera, felt crafted with passion and traditional expertise. I especially loved the sheer depth of flavor in the Key Wat (spicy beef stew) and the creamy, perfectly spiced texture of the Misir Wot (red lentils). I was visiting family from out of town and had a craving for Ethiopian food, so gave this place a try. It was sooo yummy and flavorful! We got the meat and veggie combo, which allows you to taste a bit of everything. The meat portions were big too, so we had some leftovers to take home. Each item tasted unique and nothing was overly spicy. My favorite was the lega tibs! This is a legit hidden gem and I would recommend it to both Ethiopian food lovers and people interested in trying the cuisine — the combo is easily shared among 4 people.

Very nice family owned restaurant. Food was really good and flavorful. I saw lots of Ethiopian families from the community coming in to dine so that was an indication it's good authentic food. The sambusas were outstanding! I will return to try other food items.

Delicious authentic Ethiopian food. We shared the Doro Wat (very spicy chicken dish) and Veggie Combo. Both were fabulous. The flavors were rich, complex and spiced just right. The servings were very large and provided lunch the next day. The traditional bread was delicious and perfect for scooping up everything. The service was great, our server was very sweet, patient and helpful in guiding is through the menu. The atmosphere is not great, very basic, like a sandwich shop. I wish they would upgrade, add nicer tables and chairs and decor to make things cozier. Would I return for the food, absolutely! I highly recommend this spot for great authentic Ethiopian food.
