West 52 BBQ

I'm town for work and was craving some good fried chicken, first spot came up on my search. I'm from Louisiana and mostly my experience with food up north has been bland unseasoned no flavor but this place, the service was awesome and the chicken was really good and crispy. Those greens my God are so delicious the potlicka so good 10/10 would definitely recommend and they let you try before you buy!!!! Next time I'm here I will definitely be stopping in.

I was a first timer and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The owner (Troy) and his family were wonderful and very hospitable. The food was amazing as well (1/2 slab of ribs, catfish nuggets)... 10/10 would recommend and I'll be going back everytime I'm in the area!

Troy makes sure you have an experience when you come to his establishment. This was my first time and Troy was very pleasant and engaging. He also have me a taste test, chef's kiss😚. He listens too, I said no cornbread for medical reasons and he didn't include the fries. Ty Troy for the experience, I'll be back! I ordered mini tip and collard greens.

I had the brisket and I was very impressed with my sandwich. The brisket was cut in thick slices, great flavor, and tender. I was so impressed with the brisket I ordered the pork chops for dinner. The chops are big thick chops breaded. Great flavor! Their fries are seasoned and crispy. Great food. I will definitely be returning.

My wife and son had eaten here for lunch before and recommended it to me. I got a chance to try their BBQ by buying some of their BBQ pulled pork for the Super Bowl. We stopped in one day and setup an order for pickup on Super Bowl Sunday so that it was fresh and hot. Their BBQ pulled pork was fantastic and I think it tasted even better the next day for some reason! Very tender and tasty. The homemade sauces for the BBQ are very good. The sauces we got were hot, sweet and Chicago mild. I really enjoyed the hot and Chicago mild. We met the owner and he is a great guy! They cook their BBQ in an outside smoker in the back of their restaurant. Menu is a little different each day. Call ahead or check their Facebook page for what they have that day. We will be back!
