Happy Place Cafe

I came in for brunch and was seated in a booth immediately. I had my drink order directly after and ordered the California Benedict. The dish was great. I had to remove a few spots of the avocado but the meal was very tasty. The allowed me to substitute the hash browns for fruit. The server was very polite and helpful. I will definitely eat here again when next in Shorewood. If you’re in the area it is worth checking out. There was a good variety of menu items to choose from and I look forward to trying out more of them soon. There was plenty of parking in the lot and no obstacles on the way in.

My family and I have been going to Happy Place Cafe for years now, and I suppose it is time to write a review with all of the experience I’ve had with them. But the specific visit I'm writing about was just as good as every other visit. As always, the food was excellent in quality and taste and came out pretty fast, maybe a 15-20-ish minute wait. By the time it got to us, it was still very hot, and everything looked fresh and delicious. The service was amazing too, our waitress was very kind and courteous, and took our orders very quickly. She wasn’t very chatty, which I personally like better than a waiter that talks a lot. But the best part was the wait times, which were very fast, and had us in and out of the restaurant in a jiffy. I stumbled upon this place randomly driving home to Morris on 52, gave it a try. And I cant express how impressed I was by the service. Michelle was wonderful, I believe the lovely lady up front named Ryan the manager kept asking me how things were. The food was great, and even the other servers seemed very friendly.. I'll be back soon! Probably on a Tuesday is when I come to Joliet for work..😇

Its been a long time since i came to this wonderful Shorewood establishment, but needed a late dinner. Had the pleasure of having I believe the wonderful young ladies name is Maddie? And I asked her to advise me on what to eat, the special I believe was called a cajun sea bass, I love sea food. And as sometimes I want to be advised on what to eat by the experts, Maddie was dead on. It was fantastic. So tasty. Great service like always, but that dish was something else. And of course the manager Ryan always is making sure the place is running like a well oiled machine. Thank you as always, my first time reviewing the place even tho I have been before. But had to after this meal.

It was our first time at Happy Place Cafe Friday and it was delicious!!!! I had the French toast and my husband had the Mexican skillet. The skillets potatoes were nice and crisp with over easy eggs and it did not disappoint…the flavor sooooo good!! My French toasts were thick/fluffy with strawberries/blueberries and pecans mmmmmmm so good! We’re definitely making this cafe our new breakfast spot. Everyone was so nice our waitress was very friendly, polite and attentive.
