It's always a pleasure to visit the Webster Groves Public Library. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They have a variety of special events for families, teens, and adults. Poetry readings, paint and sips, visits from animal rescues, and much more, this little library has it all. My personal event they offer is the opportunity to read to dogs training to be service dogs to veterans. It sounds crazy to read to dogs. It is actually so much fun and gives them the opportunity to try to be calm in chaotic situations because the readings take place in the children's library upstairs above the main library. The Webster Groves library has something for everyone with lots of Hands-On activities.

Excellent library that has NOT been gutted like the St. Louis County library system has. There are plenty of recently published books, but they have also KEPT books from other decades, as is the actual purpose of a library. Many people will appreciate their borrowing policies which include automatic renewals and a long borrowing period. (Clearly they are not making their money on book fines.) It's also a pleasant, quiet place to read and study. Although it's not the biggest library, it might have one of the biggest book collections in St. Louis at this point.

Great library! Me and the kids love going here and everyone is super helpful! There's also a lot of out of the box things you can check out besides books like fishing poles and garden seeds. Fantastic part of the community!
