Olive + Oak

We went here for a birthday celebration, started at the bar for happy hour. Bartenders know how to make a great old fashioned, and the wings for an appetizer is a must! Once our table was ready, our server Beck treated us like royalty, it was amazing! We had the 32oz steak for 2. It was prepared perfectly, presented very well, and was one of the best steaks we’ve ever had. We shared an exquisite espresso martini for dessert, and overall, everything was perfect. Great way to celebrate a birthday!

Olive + Oak absolutely delivers when it comes to food. Everything we ordered was great, but a few things really stood out. The Gaucho steak was flavorful, surprisingly light, and a solid portion. The appetizers were strong too, especially the wings, very messy but absolutely worth it. Drinks were decent, nothing mind blowing but they got the job done. Now the burger… no exaggeration, it was hands-down the best burger I’ve ever had in my life. Still thinking about it. Desserts were on another level. The butterscotch crème was delicious, though just a bit on the salty side for my taste. The cloud cake was incredible and massive, I had to take half of it home. The float was also very good. Great St Louis restaurant. Impeccable service.friendly, welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. Food is creative, beautiful and delicious. The seared mushroom dish (no photo) stood out and the mind boggling tea infused crème brûlée was so unique and spectacular. Everyone was gushing over that dessert. Everyone is always happy and eager to return. Our go to when we want to take clients to dinner.

I got a call from the restaurant within one week, confirming the reservation. I made a special request for a quieter table because the dinner was a special occasion! Both the lady on the phone and the hostess (on the day of dinner) obliged happily. When my husband and I arrived, we were seated immediately at a really nice end booth. Perfect! Quiet and fairly private in that space. Lovely real plants all around. Real candles too! Our server, Sam, came by very soon after and he couldn't have been more pleasant. Came to celebrate a birthday on 12/10. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive and definitely knew the menu inside and out. Food was delicious and portions were big enough to have leftovers. We don’t usually order dessert at restaurants but the menu was too temping to resist and we ended up ordering two! The butterscotch dessert was fabulous and paired nicely with the cranberry cake.
