Weathervane Lodge

Ken and Terry could not be more welcoming to us (and our 4 young boys) when we stayed. The boys did not want to leave and we will return soon. Very relaxing with cozy fires and s’mores to end the day after a cold day on the slopes what more could you want.

We came to Vermont to do the Green Mountain Adventure Challenge with our school-aged daughter and baby. This place was very comfortable and cozy-it felt like an extension of home! There was more than enough space, our room was clean and had everything we needed and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. Terry (one of the owners) is a great cook- we were only there for two days but some of the items featured at breakfast were sweet potato/chocolate chip pancakes and a chorizo sausage and egg scramble. There is a lounge downstairs with family board games, comfy seats to watch movies and a beautiful out door area where adults can relax. Really can't say enough about this place!

"Best. Hotel. Ever." Or so said my 4 year old granddaughter after her first night at The Weathervane. Terry and Ken, our hosts, were amazing and patient with the 4 year old and the 9 year old and completely helpful with everything we needed. ||||The Lodge is lovely - homey, set on magnificent grounds, comfortable and did I mention that the breakfast is delicious? Besides our rooms with en suite baths, there were common areas to enjoy - We ate breakfast in the lovely dining area, enjoyed the lounge where the girls played with a WII and saw a movie and gobbled down their peanut butter and jelly sandwiches while having a conversation with another guest. The Weathervane is friendly - it seems to attract people who in winter love to ski, but in summer, the wonders of Vermont are all around - sw

I stayed at the Weathervane Lodge with my son and daughter this past weekend. This bed and breakfast provided a perfect place for us to stay. The facility was spotless and hosts were incredible friendly. Our room was very spacious and clean. We spent time in the lounge. They had couches to enjoy the fireplace and movies. The kids could play foosball or the wii. Breakfast the next morning was terrific.

I had a wonderful stay at the Weathervane Lodge. Ken and Terry go out of their way to make you feel at home. The Inn is homey, there is a great room downstairs where you can watch tv, play Wii, Foosball, work on jigsaw puzzles, play games and enjoy each others company. There is a fridge to store your items and bar to make your favorite drinks. Remember it is BYOB. Breakfast was delicious- Terry cooked up sweet potato chocolate chip pancakes- that were yummy!||||I am looking forward to going back with my grown children.
