Wayback Burgers

I was in town for a funeral and we got there early. So we decided to find a place to eat at. And we were not disappointed. The food was really good. The burgers were juicy and very tasty. The staff was very friendly as well. I would definitely come back to this burger place.

Maybe I'm used to faster service but I thought the service here was kind of slow. I know it takes time to cook a burger but I didn't think they had to kill cow first. It was a pretty tasty burger and the fries were decent. What would have made the weight better was if they gave me my fries ahead of time. Honestly forget how much I paid for the burger and fries and drink. I know there are other places in town where you can get a monster sub, drink and chips for less.

This place was alright. But there were some frustrations and opportunities to improve. First there was only 1 register and the person in front of us seemed like they were ordering 1 of everything on the menu so when I say it took 10 min to order and we were second in line that is no exaggeration. We ordered 2 burgers and a fry because when you order a burger that's all it comes with. We were very happy to see that all the burgers were cooked to order so we really appreciated the freshness, however, they use no seasoning on the burgers so they taste very bland. The same with the fries, not salted at all. What was nice though is they have malt vinegar to put on top so that was nice and there is salt at the tables to season as you like. The burger was too greasy. The grease seeped through the outside of the sandwich wrap. The fries were too salty. The brownie milkshake was excellent.

Coming from Philly my fave burgers were nifty fifties…. But hands down way back has the best burgers my goodness. They’re always so nice to me and my son!
