This is a beautiful library with a great selection of books and digital resources. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

This library has a comfortable welcoming vibe and all due to the children’s librarian, Sandra. She learnt our littles names and invited them to take part in the summer reading challenge. I don’t believe she gave us any special service, but it felt like it. The children’s section is arranged by genre which was novel. Great train table and lots of games to explore. A good craft table too. Monday and Wednesday had story time, though we missed out on the Tuesday gardening. The Moms I met were lovely. This is a great little library! So happy I will have a cherished memory of Vermont each time I read caps for sale. Vermont is a beautiful state!!! Thank you Sandra 🙏

My favorite library in the state of Vermont… and I’ve been to a lot of them. I moved to Waterbury 14 years ago and have since left the town, but I still pay for a WPL library card and use it frequently. Staff is amazing, helpful, and always friendly and I love the programming they offer for both kids and adults. All libraries are perfect, but WPL holds a special place in my heart.

Well stocked and comfortable library, but for quiet reading or work - bring your noise reduction earphones with you or seek out a quiet cafe instead. The staff and volunteers speak and laugh at full volume, as if sitting at a noisy restaurant. Afternoons are often filled with children, which make this an excellent community service center but not the greatest for concentration. Likely, noise very much depends on the time of day you happen to visit.

They have just redone the entire inside of this Historic Library. Already housed in an historic building-another beautiful one of many in the remarkable town of Waterbury, the newly renovated inside of the library is certainly worth seeing.Being an avid—no, a VORACIOUS reader, I have been in many libraries. I can honestly say this is one of the most impressive libraries that I have visited. I love this library. I'm sure you will agree with me if you come visit. I am sure I speak for all of the residents of Waterbury when I say that we would be happy to have you come visit our beautiful town. There are many amazing things to see and do here. And even if you are not interested in the reading aspect, I am sure that the beauty of the library-now both inside and out-will be worth it to you. Com
