Janina and her team at Red Poppy made our wedding cake and dessert bar for our wedding on 10/24/25 and we couldn’t recommend them more! We met with Janina for an extensive consultation and tasting, which was so much fun. The possibilities of what she can create are endless. We had some amazing flavor combos, and everyone raved about the desserts. We made sure to have some gluten-free options and those guests said they were the best gluten free desserts they’ve ever had! Working with Red Poppy was seamless and an absolute blast. I believe this was also the first time she worked with our wedding venue, and our venue coordinators all told us how great she was and how they’d love to work with her again :)

I just want to start off with is WOW! janina is such a talented and wonderful person to work with. We ordered a small cake and two different flavored whoopie pies for our wedding. I will attach photos so that you are able to see the detail and care that were put into these deserts. Janina was timely with any communication we had with her, pricing was fair and reasonable. Janina went above and beyond! She even set up the treats at our venue. I recommend Red Poppy Cakery to anyone and everyone!

Can’t say enough nice things about Red Poppy Cakery! We went with them for our Wedding Cake and Cupcakes, and would have considered no alternative. We had a delightful first experience with our tasting - Janina’s comprehensive knowledge and presentation of everything from cake composition options to details of physical delivery logistics put us so at ease, and made us so confident that we would be taken care of. We hired Red Poppy to do our cake and dessert table and were so blown away by everything. From the flavors to the aesthetics, Janina nailed the autumnal rustic vibe we were going for. We did a maple bourbon vanilla cake and it literally was one of the best things I've ever tasted and so beautiful!! The cake was so moist and the flavors were perfect. The cupcakes were delicious as well and we all were obsessed with the mini pies - so cute!!! Could not be happier with everything and everyone could not stop complimenting our desserts. I ordered a princess cake for my daughter’s 4th birthday, and it was absolutely stunning and delicious. Even my sister joked, “Your cake has a balayage,” which honestly felt accurate. The two tiers were pure magic. The moment she saw it, her eyes lit up in that unmistakable four-year-old way that makes everything worth it. There is no universe where I could have created something like this myself, and I am so grateful Red Poppy made it happen. I ordered and added the princess topper separately at my own request.
